Hello, my name’s Suchandrika (Such-AND-drika and the ‘ch’ is soft, like in ‘choose’).
So, about me? The essentials:
I made the Black Mirror Cracked podcast – 150,000 listens in the first 5 months of 2018!
- I train for Journalism.co.uk and guest lecture at Press Association and Goldsmiths
- I write across a variety of topics such as the arts, politics and technology for publications like New Statesman, gal-dem and the Daily Mirror
- I speak at conferences and events on journalism-related subjects, including diversity in journalism and how women are getting into radio
- I’ve just revealed the secrets of starting a successful podcast at the News Rewired conference (here’s the audio); next up, I’ll be talking about how the audience finds its way to the Black Mirror Cracked podcast at the KDD conference for data scientists in August; and in September, I’ll be telling the Next Radio conference how to grow a podcast audience
